Just like p膩taka (storehouses for food, goods, and other valuable resources), Te P膩taka is a one-stop-shop of resources for tauira (students), so you can be equipped for success during your time at UC.听

Services available at Te P膩taka

First Year Student Advice

If you're in your first year at UC, you can talk to your听Kaitoko | First Year Student Advisor听for advice on degree planning, changing courses, timetable clashes and navigating life at UC in general. You can book an in-person or phone/Zoom appointment with your听Kaitoko.

Enrolment support

For any questions about the enrolment process, tuition fees, identity and citizenship verification,听student visa, or insurance for international students, visit the Enrolments team on Level 3.

IT Help and LEARN support

Visit the听IT Help听Desk听for support with things like using听, accessing WiFi, using your student email and finding computer rooms with the software you need for assignments. You can also call 0508 UC IT HELP (0508 824 843) or log a job through the听.

Pokap奴 P奴kenga Ako | Academic Skills Centre听is a free advisory service and resource hub that focuses on writing and study strategies to help you achieve at UC. Check out the听workshops and seminars听or book a听consultation.

Manaaki Scholar student support &听 student exchange opportunities

If you're a Manaaki Scholar or a domestic student interested in a听UC Global Exchange, get advice and support from the International Relationships team.听

Scholarship support and Student Finance

Visit the Scholarships desk for any enquiries about scholarships or pay your tuition fees with the Student Finance team.听

Te P膩taka is centrally located in the Puaka-James Hight (Central Library) building and is open on weekdays between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm.
